The brief
Build something a five-year-old would love. A game, a toy, a silly sound board, a drawing app, a tiny world to explore. If a small human giggles, you're on the right track.
It doesn't need to be clever or complicated. The best entries are simple, bright and instantly fun: tap something, something delightful happens.
Ideas to get you going
- A farm where every animal makes a ridiculous noise
- A colouring app where the colours sing
- A "build a monster" game with mix-and-match parts
- A bedtime story generator starring their favourite toy
Bonus points for a short video of an actual kid playing it (with their grown-up's permission). Nothing beats a real giggle.
Build it with any AI tool you like: Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit or anything else.
Rules
- Build it during the challenge window. Projects started before the challenge opens can't be entered.
- It must run in a web browser and work on a phone or tablet, with no sign-up or wallet needed to play.
- Keep it kind and child-safe: no ads, no data collection, nothing scary or inappropriate.
- One entry per person.
- The community votes to make the shortlist, then the Vibers judges pick the winners from the top entries.
- Winners must verify they own the project (site or GitHub repo) before the prize is paid. Finalists may be asked for proof, such as a repo or a screen recording of the build. Entries that can't back up the rules can't win.
