Giggle Farm
Repo verifiedTap an animal, it goes BOING and shouts something silly. Nine animals, one giggling sun, zero rules.
How it was built
The prompt. I pasted the challenge brief into Claude and asked it to make something that delights a five-year-old. No design spec, no stack, just the brief. What Claude did. It chose a tiny "tap an animal, something silly happens" toy and built it as one HTML file with no assets and no libraries. Every sound is synthesized live with the Web Audio API (oscillators and filters), and each tap randomizes the pitch a little, so the cow never moos the same way twice. Animals squash and boing, shout their noise in big letters, and burst into emoji. The sun giggles, tapping empty space pops bubbles, and a 🎉 button sets off an animal chorus. Claude also kept it child-safe on its own: no ads, no tracking, no text to read, big tap targets. Where it shone. One prompt gave a working, bright, phone-friendly toy. Sound design from pure code was the surprise. Where I stepped in. I took the file, renamed it to index.html, pushed it to a public GitHub repo and turned on GitHub Pages so anyone can play without signing up.
