Make your parents' lives easier

Think of a parent, grandparent or older relative. What do they ring you about? What do they find confusing, fiddly or stressful? Build something that fixes it.

A video caller with one giant button. A medication reminder that's impossible to miss. A "which remote do I press" helper. A photo frame the whole family can send pictures to. A recipe book in big, clear type.

What we're looking for

• A real problem for a real person
• So simple that someone who struggles with technology can use it without help
• Big text, clear buttons, nothing to get lost in

Bonus points for a short video of the person you built it for using it (with their permission). The best entries will be the ones that genuinely get used.

Build it with any AI tool you like: Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit or anything else.

• Build it during the challenge window. Projects started before the challenge opens can't be entered.
• It must run in a web browser or on a phone, and be usable without a long setup.
• Respect privacy: don't include anyone's real personal details, health information or photos in your public entry without their permission.
• One entry per person.
• The community votes to make the shortlist, then the Vibers judges pick the winners from the top entries.
• Winners must verify they own the project (site or GitHub repo) before the prize is paid. Finalists may be asked for proof, such as a repo or a screen recording of the build. Entries that can't back up the rules can't win.
